Process steps:

Vacation Sick Leave Reporting Process

  1. Supervisor approves request for vacation time, or employee takes sick leave (while notifying supervisor appropriately).
  2. Time is reported to the supervisor.
  3. Supervisor approves the time reporting documents.
  4. Time reports are entered into PeopleSoft.
  5. Vacation / sick leave balance reports are run against PeopleSoft to check for "overages" (negative balances).
  6. Supervisors should immediately address any overages with employees.
